In Suffolk we have one Jordans Farm Partnership Farm. Halls Farm, run by JFP pilot farmer Stephen, ensures they manage their farms for wildlife giving over at least 10% of their land to Wildlife. They also uphold the highest farming sustainability standards through LEAF

You can visit Halls Farm using the public footpaths and bridle ways. There are lots of public footpaths across the farm especially to the east of the A1088 all very near to a lapwing habitat. It’s the perfect place for a stroll or seeing more of where your food comes from. If you’re lucky, you might be able to see some of the farmland species such as hares, lapwings and barn owls that the farmers are helping with through their habitat management commitment. Hedges, field margins, meadows, woods, rivers and ponds can all be found on farms and help to provide essential habitats for wildlife to thrive. Why not use a spotting sheet to try and spot some farmland birds!

You can also get out and about or explore your wild side by visiting your local Trust, The Wildlife Trust for Suffolk. You can find out all about the history of the local Trust and keep up to date with news and events!
